May L. Harris was already practicing law when a flyer came home in her son's lunchbox. An innovative charter school was looking for a parent who was also a lawyer, to help start a nonprofit foundation. She was the only one who responded.
She helped found the organization, stepped into the Executive Director role as it grew, and went back to the University of San Diego for a Master's in Nonprofit Leadership and Management while running it. In 2012 she founded For Purpose Law Group. For Purpose OS exists because she has sat in every chair this work demands.
